I thought it’d be fun to have a flashback friday on here!
Check out this set shot back in 2003 taken at a bmezine.com event by Mia Sabriel. These photos were used for a ModBlog entry on BMezine talking about My BME logo tattoos. Yes, the tattoos under My armpits are logos of the CALM BME logo skull of My dear departed friend Shannon Larratt. As you an see at the time of this photoshoot My tattoos weren’t even finished yet!
Did you know, My BME Calm logo tattoos were done by Joy Rumore of 1228 Tattoo in Brooklyn, NY. Joy is in Los Angeles now, still tattooin! We still work together on some stuff in fact, she is the one who made the most recent http://Treasurecams.com logo
Some of the outline of that tattoo was donne at the NY Tattoo Connvention by Joy, and it hurt SO so much. Everyone always talks about tattoos that hurt, but I am here to tell you the armpit hurts the most. Alot of tattoos you can kind of psyche yourself up to how much it’s gong to hurt and how it’s going to feel and then usually by the time you get it it’s not as painful as you thought. But My armpit tattoos hurt MORE than anything I could have ever conjured in My mind.
At one point during the tattoo convention, I was getting My tender little armpit drilled on, and had My eyes closed and was just trying to breathe. And Joy leaned over and was like, I don’t wanna freak you out but Vanilla Ice is watching you get tattooed right now
And I looked up and there indeed was Vanilla Ice and he was watching Me get My armpit tattooed. He said “That shit hurts. dont it” to Me”
haha yes obviosly it fucking hurts.
Later he was getting his ribs tattooed at the convention and I went over and said “That shit hurts dont it” to him haha.
Later in the day the convention played “Ice Ice Baby” over the loudspeaker and he got real mad and left the convention.
