Octo Blogo 2022

Hello My fans and friends, lovers and subbies.

It’s been a minute since I did a proper VIP blog for you and so much is going on that I have alot to say!

I find that I always have alot to say, which is sometimes annoying.  And I often wonder if I will ever get to a point where I stop having things to say or talk about.

I recently got the chance to speak at Williams College, for the 5th or 6th time?  It was the first on campus event I have done since covid ht, so it was a big deal for Me.

Williams has such a beautiful campus omg, it’s just so gorgeous there.  I wanted to wander around taking pictures but it was a night class so I didn’t have alot of light.  I DID get to take these pics of the inside of the hall I was in.

It was  a great class and I talked about My entire history in sex work, how I started, the different layers I had to shed, the whorephobia I had to unlearn, the activism, the clubs, managing, dancing, events and the now the business:  This website and TreasureCams and Photography, and how it might not look like it but all those experiences shaped Me to be able to do this work.

Then the students got to ask some questions.

It’s real interesting to see how college students have changed since the pandemic happened.  There’s lots of changes!  Folks are so much more closed off and prude, I’ve heard this actually from many professors across campuses.  Alot of the kids in the class had trouble accepting that sex work is actual work, so I guess that’s where I come in.

I got to talk about the start of alt porn/queer porn/feminist porn.  Different genres of porn, gitl/girl porn vs. gay porn.  So much porn.  I said like gang bang and cock so much I think I blew alot of their little minds.  BUT there was some cool stuff too and some great questions and open students.

One of the students actually doodled a drawing of Me while I was talking and came up and gave it to Me after class and I thought it was so sweet and awesome!

To see the drawing check out the ART section of the website here:

The whole experience got Me really wishing that I could go beyond the 101 stuff about sex work.  Like, there is SO much to discuss and I want to get to the next level in conversation.  I want to make stuff happen.  But it feels hard to get there when we keep having to have these basic “is sex work real work?” questions.

Like I said, I do wonder if I will ever run out of things to say.

Other than that, life has settled a little bit now that I am 90% moved into the studio.  Have a few more pieces left to bring up but it’s functional and My desk is set up and I have homes for all My computers, cameras and hard drives.  It’s great.  Although admittedly a little distracting cuz I keep looking around and smiling about how I’m actually here.

There’s still some things to be hung, and I do not have a ladder tall enough.  The question this week has been why are ladders so goddamn expensive!

I am hoping to borrow one in time to hang the show….

Oh yes, the show!  If you did not see, I am hosting an open studio gallery show, as part of first fridays downtown, November 4th.  This event is open to the public and free to attend, though it would be so so great if some art sold!

MASS MOCA, the country’s largest contemporary art museum, has a group of board members who run the “Assets for Artists” program, which is an awesome organization helping artists and awarding grants.

Recently they announced they were running this working artists group and choosing only 30 artists from the state of Massachusetts to include in it.

It’s a weekly meetup where artists share some goals about specific projects they are working on and they help you figure out budgeting, obtain funding, and connect you with the right folks to make the ideas happen.  There’s also accountability meetings to make sure you are actually working on stuff, and some great workshops about budgeting and finances for artists.

One of their workshops about finance I took a few years ago was literally life changing for Me and changed the entire way I went about My art career.=

Well, guess what: I got chosen as one of the 30 artists from MA to partake in this!

Pretty awesome!

I try not to let imposter syndrome convince Me that it’s just because they needed more LGBTQ folks, or maybe they needed more females, or maybe they needed more disabled females or maybe they needed more minority marginalized folks and love the fact that I’m a sex worker cuz it makes them look diverse.

Or maybe it’s cuz My work is good and they believe in it

I dunno, but I will take the opportunity happily.

So that starts this month and is some extra work, but work I am excited for.

I’ve been shooting some GREAT stuff at the new studio.  I was first intimidated by it and thought maybe I wasn’t that good yet, or maybe I’d mess up the lighting.

But I feel really confident in My abilities right now and am feeling blessed to have so much cool work lined up.

What that translates to YOU folks is that  I have some new models to introduce you to, cute new holiday themed sets, and lots of new work coming of your favorite models who are integral part of the crew like:

Sunny Cheex, Andrea at peace, Duchess Jealoquin, Tommie Gunn, Kitten Dabstar, Morgan Fey, Lyra SKye and MORE more more.

Is there a model you wish you could see more of here?  Let Me know in the comments.
