These photos were shot by Chris Addams at the world famous DreamAway Lodge. An iconic location, that is a Berkshire Rite of Passage. It was a brothel back in the day, turned secretive woodsy hideout location for many folk singers, including Bob Dylan. It holds a special place in My heart for many reasons and I have alot of memories here.
This particular night, was after I did a Dr. Sketchy’s event at this location! A friend had organized it and we even had Molly CrabApple herself come out to host! (photos from that event will be up one day). But after the drawing event we had. a dance party and after the after party I stayed up late and took these naughty photos in front of the legendary bar.
This place has alot of queer history, from the sex work that took place here, to the gay owner David turning it into a safe haven for his queer friends.
The venue is sadly up for sale right now. It is My great dream to own it, I will confess. Truly. If any rich investors fans suitors or friends want to finance it I would love to make it an art dance music and lgtq haven as it was meant to be. <3
